Overview
Zugo uses cookies and browser storage only for the things the Service needs to work and to remember your settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. Strictly necessary
A session cookie (set through Supabase, our authentication provider) keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it, you cannot log in or use your account.
2. Preferences
We use your browser's local storage to remember your choices: theme, language, whether you've finished onboarding, and whether your free starter credits have been claimed. This stays in your browser and is not shared with advertisers.
3. No advertising or cross-site tracking
We do not use third-party advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your browsing activity.
4. Abuse prevention
When you claim free credits, we send a one-time device signal that is hashed on our server (we store only the hash, never raw identifiers) to limit free-credit fraud. It is not a persistent tracking cookie. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
5. Pages published through Zugo
Pages published on Zugo carry a view counter so their owner can see their own traffic. It stores no cookie and no raw IP address, only the page path, the referring site's host name, and a coarse device class. It is on by default and can be turned off per project on request; the detail is in our Privacy Policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing the session cookie signs you out; blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop sign-in from working.

This document is published in English and in Russian. The English version is the controlling version: if the two differ in meaning, the English text governs. The Russian translation is provided so you can read what you are agreeing to, and we will correct any translation error you report to support@zugo.dev.
