Money questions, answered
What is a credit worth?
Credits are spent only when Zugo writes code. Opening a build, publishing it and connecting a service cost nothing, and the cost depends on the work done. These are starting estimates:
- ≈ 820 a site in a ready‑made design: only the copy is written for you
- ≈ 980 an edit to a site, measured on real sites
- ≈ 2200 a site or an app built from scratch, by people's first builds
- ≈ 2910 a game built from scratch, by people's first builds
- 2200+ a multi‑page platform, to start
What does the first month cost?
A new account gets a month of Pro for $5 within 12 hours of signing up. After that Pro renews at $25 a month until you cancel it in Settings, Billing.
Why does a $25 pack give fewer credits than the $25 plan?
Because the plan renews and the pack does not. Pack credits are bought once and never expire; plan credits arrive every month while the plan is active. You pay more per credit for not being tied to anything.
What happens if I cancel?
The plan stops renewing and your builds stay where they are. Cancelling is done in Settings, Billing, and takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Is the code mine?
Yes: under the terms, the builds you generate are yours. Taking them out as files comes with the Pro and Business plans: any build downloads as plain files or goes to your own GitHub or GitLab repository, and from there to any hosting.
